The instructions for the Thompson are very brief and to the point. Appendix B gives the outline of

the range qualifications for practice use of the Thompson. Note how few rounds fired were allotted

for firing by each trooper (i.e.: 38 rds).

Heaven help us if we had to train troops under similar circumstances.
